Zoning Verification Request


A zoning verification letter is a request by a person/organization to the Town to confirm the zone of a parcel and whether the use on the property conforms with zoning. A person may inquire about additional information regarding the property and conformance with regulations.


A letter requesting verification on a specific property and should include the following:

  • Parcel Identification Number which can be obtained from either the Assessor's Office or the online parcel/property maps
  • Address(es) associated with the property
