Household Hazardous Waste Day
Open to Randolph + Surrounding Towns
Once-a-year event held on Saturday August 9, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Randolph High School Parking Lot.
- Must have a form of identification, such as a driver’s license or a utility bill to register on site that day to drop off waste.
- Load materials into your trunk before arrival.
- You will be asked to stay in your vehicle.
- As you approach the unloading zone, you will be instructed to “pop open your trunk” so that your registration process can be completed.
- A trained technician in protective clothing will then unload your vehicle, so it is a true drive through service.
- It is recommended to leave items in the original containers for drop-off.
- It is recommended to place multiple small items in a cardboard box or similar container. The box or container will not be returned.

Fee based items:
Cash or check only.
- CRT's (televisions and computer monitors up to 60 pounds, $20)
- CRT's (televisions and computer monitors more than 60 pounds, $50)
- Electronics (printer, A/C, humidifier, microwaves, toasters, $5)
- Propane Tanks (Grill Size, $6)
- Tires (Car Tires, $8)
- Tires (Truck Tires, $12)
What NOT to Bring
- Latex Paint (Dry latex paint can go in your regular trash. Be sure the paint is dry.)
- Smoke Detectors
- Carbon Monoxide detectors
- Large propane tanks
- Flares
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, (DEP) enforces state regulations (MGL 310. CMR 30.000 Hazardous Waste § 30.93(4) Management to protect human health and the environment.
