Permits:
We have 20 available permit options in our Permiteyes system. This system is accessible 24 hours a day via the comfort of your home and any cell service.
Our inspectors are here for you!
By having the work done by licensed contractors and inspected by certified building officials, you can rest easy knowing the work was done correctly.
Please remember that it’s always easier to ask a question first and not after something goes wrong.
Why is it a good idea to permit projects at your home/business?
1. Adds value to your home, and you will always have a record of work completed by a licensed contractor, plumber, and/or electrician.
2. Protect your property from unethical contractors who may try to take advantage of you.
3. If you are selling your home, permits are public record that your projects were completed safely and correctly.
When are permits NOT needed?
When you are doing repairs to your home that do not affect the structural integrity of the home.
For example:
Deck repairs: railings, steps, floor boards.
Siding: replacement of less than 100 square feet.
Roof; a portion of damaged shingles.
Fence; placement on a surveyed property line, 6 feet or lower in height in the rear and side of the home, and 4 feet high with visual spacing (picket fence style) in front of the home.

Note: Projects may require review or approval by multiple departments prior to receiving a permit.
