Sept. 4, 2018, State Primary Election Information

Randolph Town Clerk & Registrar, Brian P. Howard, announces that Absentee Ballots for the State Primary Election on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots are available to registered voters who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to:

1. Absence from Randolph during normal polling hours (7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on September 4, 2018); or

2. Physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or

3. Religious beliefs.

In order to receive an Absentee Ballot, either the voter or the family member of a voter can request one in writing.  You may download an Absentee Ballot Application for yourself or a family member or send a letter to the Town Clerk/Registrar’s Office, 41 South Main Street, Randolph, MA 02368.

You may also come to the Town Clerk’s Office to complete an Absentee Ballot Application in person.  If the application is for you, you may vote in person at that time.  If the application is being completed on behalf of a family member, State Law requires that we mail the ballot to the voter.

The Town Clerk’s Office is open each week on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. (excluding holidays), and Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The last day to apply for an Absentee Ballot is Friday, August 31, 2018 at 5 pm.

Please Note: Absentee Ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by the close of polls (8 pm) on Election Day, Sept. 4, 2018
