[ARCHIVED] Town of Randolph & Randolph Veterans Council Announce 2025 Memorial Day Ceremonies

The words

Town Manager Brian Howard and the Randolph Veterans Council proudly announce the Town of Randolph’s 2025 Memorial Day Weekend Ceremonies. These events honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. All members of the community are invited to join us in remembrance and reflection.


Placing of Flags

Thursday, May 22 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
St. Mary’s Cemetery and Lindwood Memorial Park

Community volunteers, students from Randolph Public Schools, and local police academy recruits will help place American flags on the graves of veterans. Flags and assistance will be provided on-site. All are welcome to participate in this meaningful tradition. Meet at 30 Seton Way at 8am for flags and instruction.


Memorial Day Weekend Ceremonies

Sunday, May 25

  • 10:00 AM – Veterans Sunday Service
    First Congregational Church, 1 South Main Street

  • 12:00 PM – Ceremony at Oakland Cemetery
    54 Oak Street

  • 1:00 PM – Ceremony at Lindwood Memorial Park
    490 North Street

Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day)

  • 8:30 AM – Elks Ceremony at the Memorial in front of Town Hall

  • 9:00 AM – Memorial Ceremony at the War Memorial in front of the Turner Free Library

    • Featured Speaker: Air Force Brig. Gen. Joseph Morrisey Jr.

After the ceremony in Crawford Square, all units will gather in the parking lot next to the Zapustas Ice Arena for a short procession to Central and St. Mary’s Cemeteries.

  • 10:15 AM – Ceremony at Central Cemetery (time approximate)

  • 10:45 AM – Ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery (time approximate)

Following the ceremonies, participants and attendees are invited to gather for refreshments at:
AMVETS Post 519 AMVETS Lane


In the event of rain, ceremonies will be moved indoors to Stetson Hall. Updates will be issued as needed.
